220 pounds = 100 kg
70 x 100 = 7000 units loading dose

7000 units divided by 5000 units / ml = 1.4 ml

You mean 3 units / kg / h?
3 units / kg / hour x 100 kg = 300 units / h = 3 cm ³ / hr drip

Your question is misleading because you left some important information or if you made a mistake when he wrote about the issue, or maybe not even good units, or a combination of everything.
What is your type of drip irrigation? What is your fall factor?
B. Is this a problem even spelled correctly? I assume you mean 5000 U?
Let's see, that's what I have:
pt = 220 lbs = 100 kg, the concentration of heparin 100 U / ml, X100 patient dose = 3 mg / kg = 300 mg / wait kg (would not that, I made that hath been said, that is the way, drop by drop which I do not think (it is not written as something) in the vicinity of TWG / time or volume / time.
Patients is 70 mg / kg = 100 kg X 7000mg (if not 7000Units? 7000mg is pretty steep!)

Rephrase your question, I'll try again? =)
